Disclosure in accounting emerged to address information asymmetry between shareholders and company managers in growing capital markets. The development of financial systems led to the need for standardized reporting. Disclosure structures have been established to enhance transparency and comparability. Financial market stability requires investor confidence, as it determines participation and liquidity. Open information systems ensure confidence because trustworthy disclosure minimizes volatility. Weak reporting is associated with adverse responses in the market. This research focuses on the impact of disclosure quality on investor confidence. The analysis of theory and empirical data shows that disclosure is a key concern in promoting trust and financial market stability. Quality disclosure in accounting enhances investor trust through the creation of market transparency and perceived investment risk reduction.
